We stopped off for an unbelievable view at Kfar Adumim. This is halfway from Yerushalayim down to the Jordan Valley. For one month a year this area becomes green after much of the Winter rains. It was absolutely stunning.
We got to learn about the importance of this route being the key from the Jordan valley into the heartland of Israel. This was the journey the Israelites from Yericho into the heart of Israel first to Ha’ai then to the battle of the 5 Canaanite kings.
